Construction Project Management — One Team, End to End

Vantix Group is an installer, not a consultant. We manage and deliver your project with a single point of contact from brief to handover — anywhere in the UK.

JCT-Backed ContractsFully InsuredInstaller Not ConsultantUK-Wide Delivery

Construction project management means different things to different people. For some contractors, it means sending a programme at the start and then reacting to problems as they arise. For Vantix Group, it means owning the programme from day one — planning the work in detail before it starts, coordinating trades so they don't clash, and making decisions quickly when something changes on site.

The key distinction is that we're an installer, not a consultant. We don't charge a management fee and then leave you to deal with the trades directly. We take the contract, we take the risk, and we deliver the project. That means you have one point of accountability throughout — and one person to call if something isn't right.

Our project management approach underpins everything we do — whether that's a commercial fit-out, a house extension or renovation, or a complex multi-trade refurbishment. The same discipline applies regardless of project type or location.

What Construction Project Management Problems Do You Have?

The most common problem with construction projects isn't the building work itself — it's the management of it. Trades that clash because nobody coordinated the programme. Delays that compound because decisions weren't made quickly enough. Costs that drift because variations weren't controlled. And a client who ends up spending more time managing the build than running their business.

These problems are predictable, and they're preventable. They happen when a project doesn't have a single contractor who owns the programme and is accountable for the outcome. They happen when the management is split between a consultant who advises and a series of trades who each do their bit and then move on. And they happen when the programme is treated as a document rather than a live tool that drives decisions on site.

The warning signs are usually visible before a project starts: a contractor who can't show you a detailed programme, a quote that doesn't break down the cost by trade and phase, and a contract that doesn't clearly define who is responsible for what. If you've seen these before, you know what follows.

Our Construction Project Management Services

Fit-out project management is our core service — managing commercial fit-outs from brief to handover, coordinating all trades, and maintaining the programme throughout. Design and build project management takes this further, with Vantix Group managing the design process as well as the build, giving the client a single point of accountability for both.

Multi-trade contractor coordination is the operational heart of what we do. On a typical fit-out, there are eight to twelve trades on site at different points in the programme — groundworkers, structural steelwork, M&E, drylining, suspended ceilings, flooring, joinery, decorating, and specialist fit-out trades. Coordinating these so they don't clash, so materials arrive when they're needed, and so the programme stays on track requires active management every day. That's what we provide.

Site management and supervision means having a qualified site manager on site throughout the build — not a project manager who visits once a week. Construction programme planning means building a detailed programme before work starts and updating it in real time as the project progresses. Turnkey fit-out project delivery means taking the project from blank space to occupied, ready-to-use premises in a single contract.

We also provide refurbishment project consultancy for clients who need advice on scope, programme, and cost before committing to a project — and health and safety management, including CDM compliance, on all projects where it applies.

Construction Project Management Across the UK

We manage construction projects across the whole of the UK. There's no geographic restriction on where we work — we plan mobilisation carefully and price travel honestly so you get the same standard of delivery whether your site is in London, Manchester, Bristol, or anywhere in between.

UK construction projects come with their own set of regulatory requirements — building regulations, CDM regulations, planning conditions, landlord licence-to-alter requirements, and Party Wall Act compliance for projects on shared boundaries. We know how to navigate all of these, and we manage them as part of the project rather than leaving them to the client. You can see examples of our completed project management work on our projects page.

Why Choose Vantix Group for Construction Project Management?

The difference between Vantix Group and a project management consultant is that we take the contract and deliver the project. We don't charge a management fee and then leave you to deal with the trades. We're accountable for the outcome — on programme, on budget, and to the standard agreed.

Every project is backed by a JCT contract, full public liability and professional indemnity insurance, and a formal programme agreed before work starts. You get a single point of contact throughout — the same person who takes your brief is accountable for the handover. We report to you regularly, we flag issues early, and we make decisions quickly.
